Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data AKLIN TechnoLabs AB collects when you use aklin.io, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have tried to write it so it can actually be read.
In short
- We only collect what you type into the contact form, plus the technical data needed to run the site securely.
- We use it to reply to you. Nothing is sold, and there is no newsletter or ad tracking.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects the contact form from spam and is the only third-party script on the site.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time at info@aklin.io.
Who we are
AKLIN TechnoLabs AB, Stockholm, Sweden, operates this website and is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This means we decide why and how your data is processed, and we are responsible for it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.
Questions about your data can be sent to info@aklin.io.
What we collect and why
This is a small informational website. There are no user accounts, no newsletter, no payments and no advertising or analytics trackers. The only personal data we process is listed below.
| Data | When | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email address and the message you write | When you submit the contact form | To reply to your enquiry and follow up on it | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| IP address, browser and device information, and interaction signals collected by Google reCAPTCHA | When you visit the contact page | To distinguish people from bots and prevent spam and abuse of the form | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Server logs: IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user agent | On every page request, generated by our hosting provider | To operate the site reliably and detect security problems | Our legitimate interest in running a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
You are never required to give us personal data to browse the site. Providing it through the contact form is voluntary, but we cannot reply to you without an email address.
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised by the European Commission, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, to make sure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows from it, and are deleted no later than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we are legally required to keep them longer (for example under Swedish bookkeeping rules if you become a client).
Server logs and reCAPTCHA data are retained for the short periods set by our providers for security purposes and are not kept by us beyond that.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. Contact messages are delivered to a mailbox that only authorised people at AKLIN can access, and we choose hosting and email providers with established security programmes. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and will notify you and the supervisory authority where the law requires it if a breach affects you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
- Restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@aklin.io. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we will make that clear on the site. We recommend reviewing this policy occasionally.
